An excellant first game for Oakdale (A) against Llanwtit Fardre (A) where the only try of the game from Gethin Tudball after an action packed game full of running and tagging. Both sides played very well where Oakdale had to step up a gear against a very good passing side.

The second game which was the other half of both sides (team b) had a few more tries and after a poor start by Oakdale trailing 4-0 they came back admirably to trail by just 1 try but the killer blow came in the closing stages in what was the longest game they have played (20 minutes) when llantwit's excellent quick passing game was rewarded by the last try of the game ending the match 5-3 (6-4 overall).

Man of the week - Gethin Tudball

Try of the day - Joseph. After a mazy run in which he looked like running out of play, he somehow managed to work his way through the field side stepping numerous players to go over in the corner.

Dont forget 'Family day' at Oakdale Rugby Club this Saturday where Wales will be playing their final game of the six nations against France. All kicks off at 1.45pm (raffles, games and much more). This is a fundraiser so the more that turn out the better!
