Two games played at Ebbw Vale on a bright and sunny morning to help the sore heads. The first game was against Ebbw Vale and the second game was against a physical Pontypridd team.

The team was unlucky not to have at least come away with a draw against Ebbw Vale (I will not mention that Ebbw Vale played downhill for both halves), but the boys put in a good performance. Gethin 'Taginator' Tuball put in a good shift as always and Ollie Penny scored a blistering try down the touchline. Joe Lewis danced his way to the line and Ruben Williams ran straight through the opposition like a knife through butter.

In the second game, the ploy was to take a leaf out of Ebbw Vale's book and play downhill, however, it didn't work. Pontypridd were just too tall and physical and were the better team on the day. Tries were scored by Ollie Penny, Joe Lewis (these boys are beginning to cost their parents a few quid) and a well worked try by Pacey Jayne who came away with the the man of the match award.
