The second match for Oakdale saw them up against a very skillful and organised Whiteheads side, who started the game with a bang scoring a very quick try.

Oakdale re-started the game and Brayley Williams took the ball up the field, he passed the ball out to Jacob James who went over in the left hand corner.  Oakdale were on the attack again and the ever present Charlie Williams picked up the ball and got over for Oakdales second try.

Whiteheads though got Oakdale napping straight from kick off to level the scores.

Ruben Williams side stepped his way through the Whiteheads defence and passed to Roman Taylor to make the game 3-2.

Whiteheads as ever were quick to respond to again level the match.

Whiteheads had the sail in their winds now and were keeping the pressue on Oakdale with them pinned in their own half, despite Whiteheads scoring four unanswered tried Oakdale were defending well against a very fast and skillful Whiteheads with Charlie Williams making some key tags.

No match can go by without a trademark Joe Lewis snipe up the wing and a lovely worked move saw him do just that to score to give Oakdale soem respect.

Whiteheads again scored, however Oakdale refused to lie down and would not give up and Ollie Penny beat the wall of Whiteheads defenders to score in the left hand corner.

The final try of the match belonged to Whiteheads to make the game Oakdale 5 - Whiteheads 9.

The man of the match for Oakdale today was Charlie Williams who was a rock in defence and posed a threat in attack.
